Watching old season of Masterchef Junior right now and its comfy as hell. He really adapts well to the kids and gets on their level.

It's strange when you watch the old British episodes of Kitchen Nightmares and how comfy, relatively quiet and real they are.
Then you arrive at the American episodes and immediately it's fast cuts, dramatic music and people screaming like monkeys.

I've been in the industry for over fourteen years, and the only cooks I've seen trying to emulate Ramsay are already idiotic, impressionable morons who could be swayed by anyone, and those cooks have been few and far in between. I worked for one, and went into catering after I quit. About six months after I started at the catering company, they bought the restaurant and basically turned it into a reservation-only dine-in test kitchen... Chef Nikolas did not make the cut.
