These "box meals" have become something of a staple of Taco Bell in recent times. Do you have an opinion of which one has been the best?

>> No.15714273

They keep discontinuing them and they’ve removed the only decent items on the regular menu. Fuck Taco Bell. I don’t go there anymore.

Rattlesnake fry burrito was peak. It's all been downhill since then. IDK how taco bell managed to go from being top tier sloppa to shit in a year or two.

It has been going downhill since 2005ish. My only surprise is they have somehow managed to avoid bankruptcy. They must have cut all the wagies hours so they don’t have to give them health insurance and benefits.

The current box is a rip off

I haven't noticed. I could never finish more than 15$ of food from taco bell, which is kind of what you'd expect from one dish from any non-fast food place, so I have no complaints

i don't see taco bell threads anymore...did HE die?...for good measure

$15 can get you a tremendous amount of food at Taco Bell so I think that's pretty normal

>half these combos you have to pay for gross filler bullshit like cinnamon twists and diabetes in a cup

combos are gay, call me when they have like three non-low tier burritos in a box or something.

i imagine one of the wagies coughed on his food and he caught covid and because he's so obese he's in the hospital on a respirator, racking up those hospital bills.

think he got banned for it.

My favorite was the chalupa box because its the type of meal I normally order but much cheaper. Chalupa, some kind of burrito, cinnamon twists, and a small drink for $5 iirc.

Back in the day cheesey gordita w/ two tacos and a drink for $5... why have you forsaken us tbell

I'm mighty fond of the new create your own box thing they're doing now.
You can get a box with a 5 layer, cheesy gordita crunch and chips and a drink for $5. Reminds me of the old boxes they used to have.

It's unfortunate because most of their brands are tasty, but please do not support Yum! Brands anymore.
https://www.yum.com/wps/portal/yumbrands/Yumbrands/news/company-stories-article/Yum%21+Brands+pledges+3+million+to+advance+equality+and+social+justice

However this also applies to McDonalds, Burger King, Dominos, Pizza Hut, KFC, and many more. If in doubt please purchase store brand goods from companies without actively political Twitter accounts, such as Costco and Hannafords (Delhaize), or brands you know to be apolitical. There's a lot of excellent frozen foods on offer in store brands.

Companies only respond to sales threats. If you will quietly do this and repost to let other anons know, and on whichever other shitholes you post on, without explanation or engaging in long ideological arguments, eventually corporations will realize what has happened, only after taking enough damage to take it seriously.

However, do not forgive them or return to their brands unless they are cleansed by being sold off to other, non politically preaching, companies.

I haven't been a fan of the boxes since the double chalupa box - with a chance to win that fancy xbox. You also used to be able to swap out the cinnamon twists for chips and guac/cheese/pico, which actually made that worth something. The $5 nacho box was probably the last time they offered a box that was worth the price, but it also meant you had to eat a giant fucking box of nachos. Tonight was pretty boring:
>2 loaded nacho tacos
>chicken chipotle melt (just decided to try it because the dollar menu crunchwrap guy was bitching about it so I thought I'd remind myself how bad it was)
>cheesy bean and rice burrito, grilled, add onions and red sauce

That looks like a good burger. It's good that shitty coworker didn't distract you this time.
I got some taco bell for myself tonight, but I forgot to add red sauce to the cheesey bean and rice burrito which was a bummer. It's no where near as good without it.

>> No.15720650

I think there was a double chalupa one when that was around, that was top tier if so. I really don't care for the cinammon twists though so I give them to my sister.
