China invented wheat noodles.
Despite being influenced by this, Korean cold noodles made from beans, Vietnamese pho made from rice, and Japanese buckwheat noodles made from buckwheat are unique.

Actually there's dried pho noodle now. And glass noodles and vermicelli have to made into their own dish. Some viets in austtralia use pho noodle to make mi quang because they can't source mi quang noodle
An acquaintance of mine ate pho at Vietnamese restaurant in Australia for so long, that she prefer the way they make it in Australia than the way in Vietnam. It's gonna be different outside of Vietnam due to constraint in sourcing ingredients and time for the broth. Even in Vietnam the way they make pho has clear differents between the North (commie hardland) and the South (former anti-commie land now being ridden with Northern commies). In the south they put some green leaf veggies in pho, but in the north only spring onion, and I was amazed that the hot sauce for pho used in the north actually had high concentration of chillies, like there are chillies bits, unlike the industrial crap hot sauce in the south that us southerners have a love hate relationship
