Vegetable and certain seed oils contain an omega3-to-omega6 ratio of up to 1:20 when a healthy diet demands something closer to 1:1. The average american diet gets a ratio of 1:6-1:7. Omega6 is a very inflammatory oil which causes your body (specifically blood vessels) to be in a constant state of inflammation which in turns causes calcification, leading to higher blood pressure and blood clots. Since there is no way you are consuming enough omega3 to correct the balance it is simply better to stay away from these oils. Favour oils low in omega6 such as coconut and olive

Label says it's high in omega 3. That may be true even though the main ingredient is soybean oil
because the food scientists have created something called high oleic soybean oil. Some brands may be using high oleic versions without labeling it as such. For example Kettle Brand chips use high oleic canola, sunflower or safflower oils to fry their potatoes, but nowhere is this mentioned on the label, only in the faq of their website.
High oleic vegetable/seed oils have been engineered to have less omega 6 and more monounsaturated fat than the standard vegetable oils. Would I consume Kettle Chips? Hell no. It's still a frankenstein oil.

Several sources of information suggest that human beings evolved on a diet with a ratio of omega-6 to omega-3 essential fatty acids (EFA) of approximately 1 whereas in Western diets the ratio is 15/1-16.7/1. Western diets are deficient in omega-3 fatty acids, and have excessive amounts of omega-6 fatty acids compared with the diet on which human beings evolved and their genetic patterns were established. Excessive amounts of omega-6 polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFA) and a very high omega-6/omega-3 ratio, as is found in today's Western diets, promote the pathogenesis of many diseases, including cardiovascular disease, cancer, and inflammatory and autoimmune diseases,

https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/12442909/

Vegetable oil is certainly unhealthy. This is because it's pretty much all omega-6, and standard american diet is 15:1 omega-6/omega-3, versus a recommended amount of 1:1

In theory, maybe vegetable oil would not be unhealthy if you ate a diet with a balanced amount of omega 3:omega 6. in practice, you probably already eat way too much omega 6 and eating vegetable oil will make this far worse.

No it was just a few food scientists funded by Kellogg(a creepy 7th Day Adventist who also advocated chopping off foreskins to prevent masturbation).
Almost all “science” related to nutrition is based on poorly designed observational studies that use self reporting(aka shit data) and don’t control for other variables like the fact that a vegetarian is also far more likely to be health conscious and do things like regular exercise than someone who pays no attention to their diet.
When you actually do a rigorous multivariate analysis the only things that seem to improve health are calorie restriction and eating nuts.
Conflicts of interest are also rampant in nutritional science. You often see Coca Cola funding “studies” that show that sugar isn’t bad for you, or pajeets who follow a vegetarian diet for religious reasons “proving” that meat is unhealthy and that we all need to eat lentils, or researchers who also sell diet books and supplements for the diets they are promoting.
And there’s no reason to believe that people from different parts of the world with radically different climates and crops should all be eating the same thing. Northern Europeans evolved to eat dairy. Native Americans are almost universally lactose intolerant. Western diets in general seem to be far worse for people with Native American ancestry.

The reason they single out carbs is because most processed foods are very high carb.
What do fatasses generally eat? Chicken breast, or Oreos? Swiss chard or french fries? Salmon or poptarts?
Think about it like this. If you took the standard American diet which is 70% carbs and had to cut something from it, what would you cut? Fat? Hard to do without cutting too much essential fat and having hormonal issues. Protein? Nobody thinks that’s the issue.
Since refined carbs make up a huge portion of the caloric intake, the best thing to do would be to reduce the amount of simple carbs. You can keep eating fruits and veggies but there’s no need for sedentary fatass to be eating 8 oz of bread with their meat or a 20 oz side of French fries. Carbs are also cheap so when you go out to eat the restaurants give you massive portions of carbs. By cutting them out you’re just going to eat less. Instead of chicken and potatoes you have chicken and broccoli that way you still get the protein but fewer overall calories.

you think its easy because you are one of the people who gets 75% of their calorie intake from carbs and have to spike your blood sugar else you will not feel satiated no matter what
oils and fat are extremely filling
>>15932424
the entire idea of a low carb diet and why some people do it in order to lose weight is based around how due to the lack of dietary glucose your blood sugar stays steady throughout the day and you will not only feel satiated easier but also not experience spikes of hunger
honestly why talk out of your ass when anyone can tell you have no clue

>entire idea of a low carb diet
I don't care, that's irrelevant to what anyone is talking about, we're not talking in platonic ideals, dumbass

I’m not capable of consuming mayonnaise. One time I ordered from some world famous burger place at the king of Prussia mall and my burger was just smothered with semen-consistency mayonnaise. I’ll never have mayo on my burger again.

Holy shit the state of modern science. The fucks who believe every study because they came from someone with a piece of fancy paper lack even the most basic ability of introspection. Science is the new religion, studies scripture, and scientists the priests. If you question anything you're a heathen and inhuman.
Do your own research for fuck sake.

the burden of proof is on you. you made the claim. you cite the source.

you claim it is so easy to google it but instead of doing that, you reply with a walled paragraph spouting some good old salty baby shite, which takes more effort, causes discourse, details the thread and makes you look like a fucking idiot.

no I didn't read your giant post or really followed anything you said or actually give a shit either way but holy fuck, man. cowboy the fuck up. what lame-ass little bitch shit.
