I wanted to see what everyone's thoughts were on this. I just had a first date with a girl, took her to a decent restaurant, and she finished approximately 1/2 of her meal. She asked for a takeout box for the rest, and proudly proclaimed to me that it would be lunch tomorrow. She then proceeded to carry around the take out box for the half hour that we walked around after dinner. Is it just me, or is this terribly low class and in poor taste? It just gave off the impression to me that she cared more about the food than the company which is always something I try to stay away from giving off no matter how good the food is. I know that I saw an interviewee do this during a business dinner one time, and the guys at the office were all laughing about it the next day and he got dinged. My thoughts right now are to give her the ding. I know she was not well off. She works in PR and barely squeaks by with help from her mom and dad. I just figured that she would have been raised in a classier fashion than this. Oh well. Fortunately I don't mind paying and it's just a drop in the bucket for me. Just wish I could figure out a way to screen out girls like this from the get go next time. My time is more valuable than the money spent on dinner. There's no way she's getting a 2nd date. Carrying around a doggy bag makes it very awkward to have any physical contact after dinner and I did not even feel comfortable going in for a good night kiss. She knew that and I knew that, but she cared more about her free lunch tomorrow than me. Yeah she's definitely getting dinged unless someone convinces me otherwise.

I went on a date with this girl to a pretty popular local restaurant. She ordered a massive meal, ate like a quarter of it, told me she liked it and then stopped. The waiter offered to pack it up for her and she declined so into the trash it went. It was in that moment that I knew I couldn't date her seriously beyond fucking her dumb fucking mouth. Fucking stupid bitch people who just waste food like that should be forced into a manual labour camp. Why did you order a massive meal if you were not going to eat it you dumb wasteful bitch? If you weren't that hungry you could have just got an appetizer. And why would you decline an offer to simply wrap up the food you selected especially if you like it? Are you too good for leftovers? This was my pet peeve about dating women. Any woman that pulled that shit never got asked out again. Finally met a nice girl who actually enjoyed her meal at the table like a civilized person. We were too full for dessert so I ordered a piece of carrot cake to go, and we wound up having it for breakfast the next morning. I married her 25 years ago, and that's become one of our traditions, when we go out for our anniversary we always order dessert to go and eat it for breakfast the next morning.
