i go to mcdonalds because i dont view the employees as people, and therefore i dont get anxious going there. if i go to a regular restaurant or a cafe then i get anxious about what the people working there think of me since they dont wear a uniform and arent mindless npcs like they are at mcdonalds. so i only go to mcdonalds/kfc/other fast food chains if i eat out

No one with taste eats fast food, especially national chains. They very likely think those local places aren't very good for no other reason than they don't taste like cheap, gross fast food. The perfect example of this is people actually thinking McDonald's fries are good, when they don't taste like anything but fryer oil and salt. They literally enjoy the taste of salted fryer oil, and some of them will even argue that McDonald's has the best fries for this reason. On top of that, they are so used to eating McDonald's fries and so convinced they are good because they've always believed this and have always been told this, that they say any fry that doesn't taste like salted fryer oil is bad.

They have no idea what good food even tastes like. All they know is bullshit, and they are so convinced it's good that they can't imagine anything else.

It's just bad, and the only fast food chains that are actually mediocre to occasionally good are the ones these idiots think are bad, overrated, or too expensive. This one isn't laziness or fatness - I legitimately think the "consistent quality" argument comes down to autism spectrum disorder. I have never met a person who wasn't questionably autistic who made this argument.

No one who is a healthy weight and eats a normal amount complains about portion size. The incredibly rare athlete/body builder who doesn't eat their own diet regiment at all times will just order two or three meals (I know these people, that's what they do) and don't complain about it because they accept the cost of food and quantity they have to eat as something they have to put up with to achieve a goal.
Only fatasses bitch about portion size. It should be no surprise that the most common complaints and priases about restaurants in the United States - with nearly 70% of its population overweight, including nearly 40% obese - have to deal with portion size. Only fat people give a shit about this. Everyone else is more concerned with how good the food is, the quality of the service, the cleanliness of the restaurants - but fatshits universally complain about portion sizes.

So we see the makeup of the person who eats fast food and actually thinks it's good - lazy, fat, and possibly autistic. No one should be surprised by this.
