It dissolves into a sugary syrup the second you bite into it. There's a slight floral aroma to it too, but its hard to pinpoint since the sugariness kinda overpowers everything else. Amerifats would fall head over heels for it tho.

I never ate whatever is called Jalebi but Baklava is a sugar bomb. It's disgusting how sweet it is. You can litterly feel the sugar crystals melt on your tongue.

All these maghreb/mena sweets are so insanely fucking sugary that you might as well eat pure sugar cubes and stop pretending you're eating some kind of actual dessert. Never understood what people like about these shits. I don't have a problem with sweet stuff but there should be some kind of actual substance to it beyond the fact that it's so sweet you can feel your blood sugar rising by just standing next to it.

We can do so much better than the OP. If you want something intensely sweet go for lokoum, soutjouk, glyka (candied fruits/preserves) and the various pastellis (toffees/brittles with and without nuts). My top pick would be a good quality flaky halva with pistachios.
