Mostly something cheap like gas station food. Maybe something that they dug out of the trash if they're really desperate but it's usually not too difficult to panhandle 5 dollars or some shit. I've never been homeless but I have a few friends that are traveling hobos.

Dumpster diving small bakeries is where it's at. When I was homeless I would get literal garbage bags of day old bread, donuts, and cake. It was next to a small pizza place that didn't destroy the food before tossing it. Ate like a king.
Had a YMCA membership that I saved up for before becoming homeless. Showered, did laundry, swam, worked out, and relaxed in a lounge area to get out of the heat during the day. Slept in a tree at night to avoid animals and other people.
Being a homeless dude at 16 is legit if you aren't competing with others.

A lot of homeless people are alcoholics and alcoholics don't eat much due to constant stomach distress. If they do eat, it's stuff from the food bank / church outreach.

>What do homeless people eat?

1. They have the option of buying froze stuff from a grocery store (maybe Food Stamps) and using the gas station microwave close-by to heat it up, at least that's what I would do.

2. Fast food if they let you inside during corona

3. Worst option, you dig thru the dumpster for any food that's there.

4. Best option if no money: Hold a sign saying you're hungry and will take any food. People will give you their food in the cars or will buy something for you without hesitation out of human decency.
