I am very Caucasian, and I too happen to like fried chicken now and then. However, the foods you eat have flavours of their own. Some people, those who cannot cannot chicken without having it blasted with highly potent sauces or coatings, probably don't like chicken at all. They like the spices. You could bread a mudflap with chicken seasoning and fry it and they's probably like that as well.

It's like white bread. By itself it's largely lifeless and bland, not something you'd eat by itself. It can only be used as a vehicle for the peanut butter and jelly. Apply that idea to food in general, and you wind up with chicken being the vehicle for excess spicing, or "hot" flavours.

I made some teriyaki sauce last week and used it for chicken, it was pretty good. I'll fucking do it again too.
