Alright assholes, I'm caving. I'll buy some deenz. Which ones do I buy? Brands? Flavors? How do I eat them? Just go at em alone with a fork?

I recently got into sardines myself. People talk about it all the time here, but I'll say it myself; King Oscar is a damn good product. I personally like their mediterranean deenz the most.
You can just go at them with a fork, but some people put them on crackers or bread too. You just gotta try stuff out and see what you like.
Enjoy, anon.

I'm >>16255582 and here's how I see it (FWIW): deenz proper are kinda the staple of the family, the mainstay. Nutritionally speaking, mackerel has *substantially* more omega 3 EOFA, while (whole) deenz has like five times the calcium. I don't presently have any kippered herring in my inventory, so you'll have to compare and contrast that one for yourself. The long and short of it is that nutritionally, each has its strengths and weaknesses, it's role to play. That said, in the flavor and texture department, I'd rank them as
mackerel
deenz
herring as a distant third
