Kind of niche, but yogurt is really easy to make at home. People are scared off because they think you need an "incubator" or special equipment but you don't. You basically just heat milk to 180, cool to 130, add starter (store bought yogurt for first batch is fine), then keep it insulated by cramming it up my ass.

The expensive part of eating potatoes is not the ingredient, it is the time involved in preparing it. If this saves time (looks like it does, I couldn't peel that many potatoes that fast) then it's a more cost efficient way to prep potatoes.

Unless of course you're some poorfag third worlder who can't afford a $3 10lb bag of potatoes.

No just stating with my 18 years working in high end kitchens, with a pairing knife i could easily do a potato in 3-4 seconds. Just need the muscle memory.

Ok but not everyone has 18 years of kitchen experience and feels comfortable slicing a slippery vegetable with a razor sharp knife. I'm decent with a knife and I still wouldn't risk it. I use a vegetable peeler and it sucks and takes forever. I hate prepping potatoes. Still wouldn't use ops retarded toilet brush drill.

Agreed on not everyone having the same exp. Try using a pairing knife instead of a peeler next time you peel potatoes. I only use a pairing knife for peeling potatoes. Also due to the starch in the potato if using a pairing knife, you wont have that slippery effect. If i had some potatoes on hand i could shoot a quick video on how easy it is.
The best kind of peeler for any other veggie besides squash/potatoes this is hands down the best peeler, old school. The comfortable grip peelers u can buy for $15-20 will break on light use. This is the best peeler you can buy.

Am I the only one who boils my tatos whole for a couple of minutes, fishes them out into a bowl, run under cold water, as I simply squeeze/rub off the skin, then throw them back in the still boiling water? Takes like.. a minute to do 10. No extra tato lost, just thin layer of skin. Idk how I figured this out.
