Literally none of the weird ass stuff he suggested is actually done by sub shops. Mayonnaise infusions? Shops use plain fucking mayo. Tossing your greens before putting them on the sandwich? They don’t fucking do it

Maybe he has some good sub tips but the title is misleading. He did a shit job of explaining why deli subs are better

The answer is fresh bread of the right texture. Grocery store bread is too low protein I think so the chewiness is wrong and the crust is wrong too. Idk tho

Also use relatively fresh ingredients with washed vegetables and everything is cut uniformly, and assembled in a known to be good manner

Use decent bread. Season everything and hit it with oil+vinegar and condiments, don't let any part of it be dry. Wrap it at the end to pack everything together.
I think this video was a lot of obvious stuff, but you'd be amazed how many people love eating at places like subway but make all their sandwiches at home like pic related.
