I grew up eating meals exactly like that minus the butter or margarine or whatever that is.
It's honestly not bad if you're actually hungry and it's probably decently healthy for a growing boy.

That's not sloppa, that's really good.

Maybe use meat that's less greasy - 100% beef from shoulder or belly is ideal. Perfect if you mince it yourself (you decide what herbs, spices and preservatives go in your minced meat) .

Coat the pasta with sauce, then add a dollop on top. There's too much of it.

You forgot the freshly grated Parmesan.

Linguine are from Genova and go with pesto, tagliatelle from Bologna go with Bolognese, spaghetti go with Roman dishes like Carbonara.

Everything else seems perfect: the pasta al dente, love the coarsely chopped flatleaf parsley, attention to portion and presentation of the dish, you didn't add all sorts of random summer vegetables.

Definitely a 9/10 first course.

3 layer (roasted eggplant sauce, meat sauce, pasta sauce) sloppa bake
Dominant flavors: burnt hamburger, burnt smoky eggplant, potent cheesiness.

meat sauce:
>hot pan, olive oil, sofrito (vegetable cooking base look it up), sauté, then add tomato sauce can, reduce and cook until very thick dark paste. Take out paste. Hot pan, naked, throw in ground beef, don't touch, let brown and crisp, flip, same, then break into chunks. Take out chunks. Hot pan, naked, butter, 1.5tbsp flour, white roux, add the aforementioned darkseasoned tomato paste, milk, thicken, add cheese, add chunks of cooked meat, milk, thicken up until not runny but not solid. Result: orange chunky cheesey sauce.

Pasta:

eggplant sauce:
>directly on the gas stove, charr each side of 4/5 small eggplants directly on flame. Peel off charred skin scoop out creamy eggplant innards. Mix salt and egg into eggplant in bowl.
