Dr oetker ristorante pizza (salami for me) is the best frozen pizza. Why? Because with a frozen pizza, you want as small a crust as possible, as crust of frozen pizza isnt very tasty. Ristorante has the thinnest crust of any frozen pizza. For non frozen pizza however, you want a thick crust (like pizza napoletana), that crust its actually good.

Buying a frozen pizza and enhancing it with your own ingredients is the cleanest, best pleasure. I love taking a frozen pizza out of the box, putting some extra meats on it and a layer of cheese. Putting a bit of garlic butter on the crust. Adjusting the cooking time to account for the additional ingredients. Putting a few anchovies on after it's done. There is no better pizza experience. You think you went to the #1 pizza place on earth (according to reddit)? Ok, it's still not as good to me. You think you made a good pizza from scratch? Ok, it's still not as good to me. Nothing will ever top the comfyness of a modded frozen piz'.

They do these in the UK. The dough hasn't been cooked, which means that it rises when you cook it yourself. Makes for a very fluffy and light base, which I like. Though usually I'd prefer a crispy base, I think this is good in it's own right.

To be fair Milton's is the only good caulfilower crust I've ever had. I've tried others and in comparison none of them taste good at all and also suffer from poor texture. Costco sells premade cauliflower crusts in the form of a 'pizza kit', those crusts are rough on the mouth and hard to chew, those are the worst 'pizza' crusts that I've ever had. Regarding flavor, it's very hard to compete with baked yeast, I'm not shocked manufacturers use tremendous amounts of salt, probably to compensate for a lack of hard cheese in the crust.

There is very little cheese and no pizza sauce. It tastes like you’re eating bread with some stuff on it. Furthest thing from actual pizza. For the UK lads out there.
Both morrisons and iceland used to do spicy stuffed crust pizzas and they were fucking amazing but for some reason they've both stopped after a while.

this one if I want to splurge

The key is to put more cheese and some additional toppings on it. Personally I use thinly sliced bacon but salami would probably work just as well if that's your thing.

It's actually one of the more expensive ones here, definitely more expensive than DrOetker.

The cheap Lidl pizza is like... 1/3? of the cost I think, and also tastes good if you add more cheese and the toppings.

has absolutely no right to be as good as it is, not to mention the supreme (best flavor) is cheaper than the all meats

Migros has these (comes in different variants ofc)
Pretty expensive at 10 chf (≈USD) but they're pretty good. Just the right middle ground between crunchy and doughy and with good tasting ingredients.
Not frozen though, technically a fresh product.
Its a good idea to buy the margarita ones and then add whatever topping your heart desires.

I don't get food poisoning often but one of the worst cases was from one of this kinda fresh pizza, can't bring myself to buy them anymore since.

Also they're usually a bit too doughy compared to the frozen ones.
