What is even the point of that one sprig of herb on the meat? Does putting it on top like that even affect the flavor? It's not like it's chopped up and incorporated into the meat, it's just laying on the center.

you know how you're supposed to baste the steak with butter? you add in herbs like that to flavor the butter.

If I'm going with scrambles, I prefer them barely cooked. I don't want them rubbery and nasty. If I wanted harder eggs I would just hard boil them.

These eggs ARE well cooked you asswipe. Eggs don't stop cooking when you take them out of the pan.

If doing scrambled eggs, I prefer a soft creamy egg that tastes buttery and eggy. Overcooking the yolk and having nasty hardened scrambles defeats the entire purpose. If I wanted harder eggs, I'd just go with hard boiled or fry them.

>Eggs don't stop cooking when you take them out
When did I say otherwise? I just want the end result to be barely cooked, that's why they don't stay in the pan for too long regardless if you're doing scrambled or some other thing. Weird random strawman.
