It's better than most food trends, but it's not amazing. It's fried chilis and spices packed in soybean oil. It's good with what it works with as a condiment.

It's been a meme food thing for ages.

It's ok. Don't know what to eat it with really. People say it's good on rice but in my opinion it's not interesting enough and I'd just have something actually good with the rice like a quick stir fry. I mix it with instant noodles usually for a little bit of extra flavor and a change of pace but even then I prefer chiu chow chili oil.

It's delicious, but with covid mistrust and being shipped from China with really long shipping dates and price hikes, I don't buy it in chinese local groderies or from online sources for the original anymore
.
There are a good dozen copycats that are made in the USA, from the Trader Joe's low priced version, to some amazon available local brands, such as Hot Crispy Oil, which I currently enjoy, and by far, though they cost more than the chinese one, they are a bit more garlic than chili oil, andI think they are superior. Is it good? yes. A spoonful into a dumpling soy dipping sauce is great, rubbed onto meat you grill, spooned over a rice, stirred into a noodle soup, it's great even on a chickfila sandwich. It has an overdone burnt garlic flavor, lots of dull dried chili flakes flavor, and something else you can't put your finger on, which might be cooked legumes, dunno. The local brands are even better on a more freshly fried garlic flavor. If it's the chili aspect you like more, or the crunch, seek out the copycats.

I don't really like siracha but I understand why many people do. If I did enjoy it I couldn't imagine being such a fucking cucked out faggot that plebbit had any influence on this.

Seriously, how can you be so fucking weak? Over a fucking condiment. Goddamn.
