They're OK

never tried them but boiled pine nuts are delicious so I imagine these are too

I buy a 500g bag of these some times in a grocery shop. They are my kryptonite.
The bag has never lasted a full 24 hours.
Feel like a pig bastard when these are around.

Love these. The gas station kind are usually from a can, which isn't bad for the plain flavor, but the cajun flavor has a bunch of MSG which is not a flavor I like in a boiled peanut. Wetter is better because I like to start each peanut with one end between my teeth and crack along the seam as I slurp out the juice. If I have the time I'll buy green peanuts at the grocery store and make a huge pot of them. Once cooked they freeze pretty well and can be had year round. For a real treat get some valencia peanuts to boil. Those little red gems make for a most Heavenly juicy snack.
