so what is /ck/'s final opinion on octopuses?
i'd rather go vegan if the only option to eat meat was octopus meat.

what gives?

I'm afraid of octopuses. When I was a child, I had to be lead past octopus tanks in the aquarium while I covered my eyes, and at the museum they hung a gigantic dried specimen on the wall with its tentacles spread out in every direction.

I don't have to explain nothing, japs know shit about cooking. The only acceptable way to cook octopus is boiled until firm and served with abundant salt, olive oil and paprika.

What's really weird is how not rare it is.

I also had it from like 3-4 years old after seeing squid in super mario brothers.

Met a girl 10 years ago who 10x more afraid of them than me. Didn't even like to see them on t-shirts and stuff.

The octopus gets out of its tank goes into the kitchen opens the fridge removes all of the seafood, eats it, carefully hides the wrappers and packaging under the garbage in the wastecan and then gets back into the tank and when I get home from work acts like nothing happened
I had to show it hidden camera footage to show that I know that it knows that I know what its up to, but it knows how to manipulate me in other ways, ie guilt trips

If you aren’t Japanese, Chinese, Italian, Greek, Spanish or Portuguese, we don’t expect your weak palate to understand one of natures greatest proteins. The texture is the appeal, in a world where chicken, beef, pork all have the same texture, octopus offers an adventurous, tasty and different experience. But I hear your white trash mom makes good cupcakes (seriously though fuck your Anglo sweet tooth)

Cephlopods are my favorite seafood though octopus > squid by a large margin

As all people of my background, I like octopus but I no longer live in my homecountry and in the last half decade, it's gotten quite pricey where I live currently and it's very low quality. Always sold from frozen which you'd think would make it more tender once cooked but it's not.

I would never eat octopus. However, I want to see Kate Upton fall into a debilitating cocaine addiction where her drug abuse spirals out of control and she loses her modeling career and has to subject herself to making fetish porn with live octopuses in order to fund her next hit of coke.
