I live in a village region, we got a bunch of chickens.
When I was a kid, I used to catch them and mess around with them, throw them off the house (kids are demons) - and they'd glide relatively well.
From my scientific experiment, it looked like you could throw them off a multiple story building and they'd likely make it. (if they didn't tire themselves out half way)
