17664462 No.17664462 [Reply] [Original]

The Jews killed Jesus this month so it's it's gearing up for ham season!

Share your split pea soup tips and tricks! Mine is a dash of clove and allspice, not much. Can someone remind me if fresh peas dissolve in the soup like split peas? I don't remember if I have to blend them or not.

Split peas have the outer shell removed, fresh peas don't, so blending them is probably a good idea if you want a smooth soup. Or keep them whole, could be a nice textural contrast

I remember liking the contrasting taste between dried and fresh, but I don't remember if they get blended or if/when added. I guess I could look up how the brits make mushy peas. Gonna hybrid it with cauliflower, so could just blender it with that as well.

I'm making some over the weekend to eat over the next week with the last 400g of Christmas ham I still have in my freezer. My way:
>Only peas, water, ham and spices like marjoram
>Soak the peas overnight
>Fry meat in the pan and spice up before putting in with the peas.
>I don't use blender, pea is fine as it is.
After about 1 or 2 hours of simmering it's nice and thick. Eat with diced raw onion and mustard.

I made this a few weeks ago
Made this large batch of nordic style pea soup yesterday
>1000g of dried green peas
>600g ham or some other meat (I used cheap cold cut ham since I'm a poorfag)
>2 medium sized onions
>2-3 teaspoons of dried marjoram
>black pepper and salt to taste

>soak the peas in water for 8-24 hours before you intend to make it
>dice the onions
>preheat your oven to 150c
>pour the soaked peas into a large (4 liters minimum) pot, roasting dish etc. with the soaking water
>bring to a boil, scoop out the foam that forms
>after no significant foam comes out, add the onions and the marjoram
>let it boil for ~30 minutes
>place into the bottom part of the oven with the lid on
>stew for a minimum of 2 hours (I let mine stew for 4, but you can go overnight for 8 hours if you want)
>add the meat in at some point, make sure you give it enough time to cook properly (my cold cuts only needed a little bit of time so I added them 30 minutes before I took it out)
>stir occasionally
>take it out of the oven when you feel its done
>add salt and black pepper to taste
>serve with mustard (preferably not the american yellow kind, but not the dijon kind either)

Do you honestly not know the story of Good Friday? The elder religious establishment Jews, mainly Pharisees, condemned him while Pilot washed his hands of it. The spear of destiny was by a Roman soldier.

Anyway, I like to use homemade chicken broth and boil the hambone in it as the soup base.

German pea soup is just peas, potatoes, carrots, celery root, sometimes also onions and leek. People often skip the onions but if you cut them very fine they're gonna dissolve completely and also thicken the soup. Important is to add some cured and smoked meat (mostly bacon or kassler). Best if you roast those in the pot before. In the end you often throw in some sliced sausages like wiener, frankfurter, bockwurst etc. For the liquid you use either water or vegetable or meat fond. You can even use the water from the sausage glass/can.
Typical seasoning is the meat, salt and pepper, parsley, bay leaves, thyme, marjoram, savory, paprika or people go wild with all types of sausage spices to emphasize the meat flavour.
Quality range is horrendous though as i had pea soups that were watery flavourless swill where they just threw the ingredients in water and dind't seasoned it at all.

Jesus was a common name in antiquity and all of those sources are not found in the original version - only christian translations where they had ample time and motive (money) to forge references they found favorable to the narrative of a Jesus.

Most mainstream historians were raised in Judeo-Christian families. A majority of American lawmakers identify as Christian. People make a lot of money off lying that he was real. It's recycled Roman propaganda to try to entire Jews, post the destruction of their temple, tp pay taxes to the Roman authorities.

There's no direct proof that a single person existed whom the book was written about rather than it just being archetypal fictional propaganda perhaps inspired loosely by actual religious movements at the time - but astroturfed nonetheless.

>Traditional Catholicism
In this repugnant age of ours, no church on Earth is closer to God than any other, barring those that have openly turned to the practice of evil like Unitarianism or LDS. Read the Catholic Church's exorcism transcripts sometime and see what Judas had to say about it.

>no church on Earth is closer to God than any other
There is but one church and that is the church founded by Jesus Christ, the Catholic Church, all others will lead you astray. Reject the novus ordo and Vatican II, Extra Ecclesiam nulla salus.
>And I say to thee: That thou art Peter; and upon this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. - Matthew 16:18
You have intrigued me with those exorcism transcripts, ive never heard of them, source?

>> No.17685398

>>17685383
Yeah, the Catholic Church was founded by Jesus Christ, and it was corrupted by man's nature. You're just another flavor of schismatic coping with the fact that all material works are, by their nature, fallible. Count up the anti-popes on your digits and you'll run out of fingers and toes.
With respect to the transcripts, I quote the proverb: Channer, spoonfeed thyself.

Nevermind, found the relevant portion of the Advertissements de L'au-Dela online, though I can't speak to the accuracy of the translation from the French.
Have a read- if a divinely compelled demon of human origin can be trusted, many Protestants will be closer to the truth than many Catholics in the coming days.

Though the clergy can be corrupted, the one true church, the Catholic church, can never be corrupted. Yes there have been anti popes and there could potentially be one right now it does not take away from the infallibility of the one true church. Reject the novus ordo and Vatican II and return to the one true Church Traditional Catholicism.
>>17685447
Thanks for source, I read the relevant part, It reads to me not as if protestants have ascended closer to the truth so much as Catholics have fallen so far down that by the amount they have fallen down (even further down that protestants) that Protestants are closer because Catholics fell so far down. In a way I don't disagree and I blame the cowardice of men and Vatican II and the novus ordo. Despite that, the Catholic church is still the one true church, regardless of whether the clergy or the laymen have been corrupted or not. The transcript even denotes "modern Catholicism" which is the novus ordo and Vatican II, not the one true church, Traditional Catholicism along with traditional mass.

To add to my previous point >>17686139
though the people within the church may be corrupted it does not change the fact that the one true church is the Catholic church and the one true faith is traditional Catholicism. This is a great learning lesson for all of us especially during this time which is Holy Week which concludes with the betrayal by one of Jesus Christ's own hand picked apostle, Judas Iscariot, whom betrayed Jesus and sold Him to the jews; Eventually leading to Jesus Christ's sacrifice on the cross for all of us sinners. It is no coincidence that we anons are brought here together so we may learn this lesson, even in the beginning has there been corruption of man, but it does not take away the validity, the truth, and completeness of the Catholic Church or the Catholic Faith.
