The way to go about a proper burger is to form them out very wide and thin. Why people don't know this is fucking beyond me. You're better off forming three very wide and thin patties and stacking them than you are one big fat hockey puck.

Yo friend. Figure out how a steak works, or trust someone el- course grind and medium-rare or less. Do not overwork patties as it's like bread dough. There's connective tissue in meat and the more you mix shit the worse it gets. One, or two grinds. The best breads? I don't know, not a baker.
