Where are you? Obviously it's just grilled meat, beans, veg, and rice wrapped in flatbread with a few condiments, but there is some nuance of course:
>meat
Chicken, beef, or pork, sometimes shredded or ground. I'd actually start with chicken. Are you in a part of the world with shashlik/shish kebab? Chicken bits grilled over charcoal with peppers and onions would be a great start. Some people use chorizo (spicy sausage) or less common beef cuts. Balkans should have some great sausage for burritos!
>beans
OP looks like refried beans which might be hard to find/make outside America, but really almost any beans will do. Pinto and black beans are common.
>veg
Pepper and onions are pretty essential but also pretty universal. Can you get avocados? Guacamole is awesome, you don't even really need a recipe, just mashed avocado is fine. We'll come to the tomato/corn later..
>bread
Tortillas, flat bread made from corn or wheat flour, sometimes fried in egg wash. But honestly the bread is often the weakest point... and substituting quality pita, or naan, or lavash could be even better, as long as it's strong/flexible enough to hold the ingredients. Burritos are often wrapped in aluminum foil or paper too, to help hold them together. Don't feel bad if the burrito falls apart, it happens all the time.
>extras
Salsa usually has a pureed tomato base but can also be corn. Sauces can be mild or hot. Are you somewhere with ajvar? That could be great. Many people add cheese, ideally shredded cheese, any cheddar will do. Another common addition is sour cream; smetana or Greek yogurt would work just as well.

To repeat, the hardest flavors to replicate outside America (North/South/Central) are probably refried beans and avocado, I don't even know what other countries have these things. Aside from those, no, you are not missing too much.

I fucking hate it whe the burrito fillings arent mixed, everything is in layers and everytjing but the meat and rice is cold
>take a bite
>cold vegetables and cold sauce assault your mouth while the meat, which is segragated into its very own tiny ghetto, desperately tries to heat it up
and yet places like this are often highly rated. disgusting

Forgot to add:
>rice
Typically white rice, nothing too exciting, but serves as nutritional filler, adds texture, and helps to soak up juice/sauce.

rice is one of the worst fillers in burritos. Youre better off with egg, peppers, cheese or potatoes, and white rice is just ruining good burrito space. Unless youre broke as fuck and trying to get by

A burrito isn't too far away from a piadina rolled up, rather than folder. Stick with Italian (but not American Italian (ever)) food. There's a reason it's so revered.

Separate question: what's the difference between a burrito and a fajita?

You're talkin my language senpai, we haven't even broached the subject of "breakfast burritos". Look, I'm not much of a goyslop guy, but the "Sonic" fast food chain in America does a burrito with:
>scrambled egg
>sausage
>fukken TATER TOTS (do Euros even get these?)
>jalapeno peppers
Best fast food breakfast item ever, speaking as a goon who's put down his fair share of Macca's Big Breakfasts after a late-night heist.
