The problem people experience with being bad with knives is self made. They use unbalanced, non sharp equipment that is often too small as well. They are afraid of a knife and just want to get over it. Meanwhile there is nothing to be afraid off, use a long knife, have it razor sharp and most of the time nothing will happen. You injure yourself only with unfit unsharp equipment.
