At the movie theater once. Had the munchies real bad and right on top of an over flowing garbage bin was an almost full large popcorn so I grabbed it.
It was probably a free refill which makes it more gross because strangers hands already went through an entire bag.

you may have been served food that has been in the trash can before without you knowing it. that means you unintentionally ate food from the trash.

>> No.19331635

no but when i was bussing my table after customers left they'd leave dozens of unpeeled shrimp, sometimes a few crab legs, or have set all the crawfish aside because they didn't like them. ate plenty of that after taking it to the back.

Had a guy where i lived 20 or so years ago who would go out in the wee hours of the morning to dump dive. He always brought back and shared with us baked goods, fresh fruits and veggies. Good stuff most of the time.

When I was 15, I worked at a laser tag/arcade. We lived on the domino’s pizza that was always left after parties.

Copy pasting my trash eating story from a previous thread:

During my freshman year of college I lived in a multistory dorm. At the end of my floor's hall there was a closet that contained several big dumpsters for students to empty their rooms' trash into. These dumpsters were emptied a couple times a week.

At the time I had no friends and would regularly get kicked out of my room when my roommate was fucking his gf. The common rooms were always full of annoying normies, so whenever I was without a room I'd go sit in the dumpster closet by myself. On this specific day I entered the closet and was hit with the overpowering aroma of pizza. It was as if I had just walked into a pizza kitchen, it was that pungent. I opened one of the dumpster lids, and there sitting on top was a Papa John's box. Almost a third of a cheese pizza was inside, and it was perfectly room temperature, bordering on cold. I started devouring it without hesitation, it's not like anyone could see me. I was hungry and had no shame.

Then the light turned off. The light in the closet was on a timer that started when the door was first opened. There was no lightswitch in the closet, you just had to open the door to get it to turn on. However, before I could do that I heard voices coming directly from the hall outside. Some girls were chatting out there, and I couldn't let them see me open the closet door and realize I had been in there the entire time. So I sat there for what felt like half an hour in total darkness eating the rest of my pizza until they went away, terrified someone would come by with their trash and find me.

>I once found a bag of crisps (potato chips) which was opened and I took it and ate everything.
Next one
>Once I saw a huge bag of unsold sandwiches and stuff on street next to some chain cafe. I opened it and took baguettes etc home.
I don't know what the policy here was - they probably were supposed to take it into trash but decided to leave it there on purpose or by an accident.
That's all, really.

I once saved my lunch money to buy a burget and my mom threw it in the trash because "you won't eat your dinner". It was still in the box so I took it out and ate it when she left the room.

When I was in middle school, my mom stopped packing lunches for me and made me do it myself. She never went shopping, so we didn't have anything to pack so I wouldnt bother. At lunch, me and my friends would do a 'chicken nugget tax' where wed go to people who got school lunches and take 1 nugget from them a piece every day. Then, when they wisened up and started getting sandwiches or pizza, we were hungry.

So, we sat by the garbage and took chicken nuggets out of the garbage. a lunch lady called us to the office and said if we were hungry we could work something out. I dont remember what happened after that.

I was working as a security guard at the office of this big multibillion dollar medical manufacturing company and they were super loose with the food they'd buy for guest lunches. I was going through this little kitchenette they had attached to the showrooms and I saw the trash can had its lid removed. I looked inside and found over a dozen croissant sandwiches (turkey, ham, beef with veggies) all individually wrapped. I also found a half a cheesecake. It was like 10PM and I was the only person on that property. I usually don't bring food to work so I feasted hard. Had it with a pepsi. Took the rest home. Would do it again.

America. You’d be surprised how many teenagers are homeless. Most of them just know how to keep themselves clean, aren’t on hard drugs, and use a lot of public services and blend in. You can literally go to different colleges on hot days and enjoy the air conditioning, sometimes you can even walk into classes and learn something. Having friends helps and some people are nice but it’s hard to find somewhere safe to sleep, especially if you’re a paranoid fucker like me. The man with a knife under his cardboard is a fool every night but one.

I too had a roommate in college that did that.

He was a loser who did all the drugs, had rich parents that were fine with him being in college for 4+ years to complete his art degree (I was a junior and he had already been in college two years longer than me), and eating out of the trash was his way of trying to show his parents he didn't need them outside of college tuition and his rent in the student housing. I regret not asking him for his plug, but do not regret becoming his friend and being sucked into his awful lifestyle.

When I was like 7 we had this popcorn day where kids got a bag of fresh popcorn just before recess and they had this bin that was freshly placed in the yard for the discarded popcorn bags and I ate fron the ones on the very top. It didn't occur to me that it was fucking nasty until some other kid made fun of me for it at which point I stopped. Bullying works, friends
