It's what borscht is made out of, but nobody eats it at thanksgiving.

Pickled beets are fucking delicious. Even better than roasted.

As much as it already has a runny egg on it - and pretty much has to be eaten with cutlery. I agree. This is going to slide all over the place and just be a complete cunt to eat.

I'm not against tomato with pineapple and beetroot (it's actually a pretty good combo, especially with a dash of worcester and some hot peppers), but sloppy veggies go above the meat. Slaw and even lettuce can live below if it's not given time to wilt, but anything juicy or slimy goes above.

sweet and a little earthy, with a vinegar tang. goes well beside cheese because it cuts through the salt and fat.

One of the defining ingredients in an Aussie Burger.

Pairs well with any fatty meat, actually. Common pratice in poorope to have some type of acidic side dish to have with your main meal. Beets, gerkhins, celery salad, whathaveyou. Low-fat dishes with chicken for example call for a kompot (apple, pears, plums)

Horrid.
My brother is a disgusting plebeian who buys a tin of this shit to have with his tofurkey every year instead of having proper cranberry sauce. I thought vegans were supposed to have better taste than that. Even his also vegan wife thinks that shit is gross

Like jell-o but kind of gritty and crumbly. I love it, personally. The canned kind beats any homemade I’ve had by miles.

I once had cheap pickled and vaccum-sealed beets that tasted exactly like >>19644173 (sorry for you Anon, try another brand), but it's not the normal taste.

>>19644332
Fellow European, Amerilards cannot handle the laxative effect of fresh beet, too much fiber even for many of us; and the effect of betanin is going to make them freak out.
