whether or not one cooks with "the exterior of an appliance" has nothing to do with the fact that people have been talking about cooking-appliances here for about as long as the board has existed, because people cook food with them. you are a /pol/ wigger & we would all appreciate it if you went back to your containment-board

Won’t everything in a place that small absorb all the cooking smells? Wouldn’t taking a giant hangover diarrhea make the whole tiny home reek?

The latest fad is hiding appliances in furnishings. The fridge and dishwasher are encased in panels matching the cupboards. The oven and stove are separate units inset into the furnishings, same for the microwave.
I admit this does look nice when it's new. But it will inevitably look like utter shit in a few years. The extra hinges will break, the plywood panels will deteriorate. The style will evolve so all your furnishings will become obsolete.
It's pure form over function.

Haha, you thought when you "bought" land (i.e., paid the government for permission to pay taxes on it) you could do whatever you wanted? lol. Sorry, but very smart civil servants have already written the rules for what you're allowed to do. Want to tear down the structure and build a mansion spanning the entire property? Sorry, there are rules that limit the size of your house. Want to raise chickens? No, agricultural activities are not part of residential land use. Were you thinking of building a second small house in your very large back yard? Haha, nice idea but that's simply not allowed at all. Perhaps you wanted to simply convert your existing house into 2-3 units and rent out the one(s) you're not living in? Lmfao, the rules very specifically prohibit this. Enjoy your "freedom" though LOL
