Is banoffee pie underrated? I think it mogs most desserts but you never hear about it.

Store bought tart crust, store bought caramel sauce, and sliced bananas.
It's lower effort than most midwest cassarole dishes.

Sounds pretty good honestly. Don't need to have a bunch of ingredients to be something tasty. Like a BLT

>Store bought tart crust, store bought caramel sauce,
Its a cheese cake base. So its crushed up digestive biscuits and butter. So no not store bought at least you can't buy them here. And I make mine. Also I use dulce de leche which I also make becuase again they don't sell it here. Then the cream I also whip by hand. Imma guess you are American

Not that thick and coarse it isn't. Unless you're referring to "no-bake cheesecake", in which case I need to inform you that that's not cheeesecake.
>i whip by hand
You don't own a stand mixer? Either you're poor or you don't cook much. Considering you're going to bat for a store-bought icebox dessert, I'm guessing both.

Its a cheesecake base no other word for it and if there is its probably pompous. Its crushed up digestive biscuits and butter no matter how coarse it is retard
>You don't own a stand mixer?
I own a kitchenaid mixer. But I find its easy to over whip with it so I use my muscular arms to beat that cream into submission like a man

There's a reason nobody makes/eats it beside Bongs.

I don't care what brand or company makes it, "banoffee" is a stupid, non-existent word. it's a banana/toffee pie which contains no toffee. Bananas are shit and ruin anything they touch
