In not a zoomer but during my short time in the US in the 90s, I only ate at three fast food places. The first one, McDonald's, I was sick in my bed after and never ate it again. The second, Burger King, just tasted bad. The third was Taco Bell and I didn't get the hype.
When I came back in the 2000s, I tried TB again and it was still meh. It was only good so far as its price.
Also a fourth place is Shitza Hut counts. I got some award from school for straight A's (because of course I did) and they gave me a choice for either a family dinner at Pizza Hut or a FuncoLand gift certificate. I, stupidly, chose Pizza Butt. It was awful. Just irredeemably awful. FuncoLand every time after that. Fuck Shitza Butt.

Honestly, I don't remember the burger but I hated the fries so much that it ruined whatever memory I had of the burger itself. I'm not even sure what burger I got. Must've been a whopper unless they make anything else. All I remember is that a friend treated me to BK in thanks for, no joke, teaching him how to get beastriders in an old-ass video game called Dark Wizard that we both had and that I ate the meal without complaint because I didn't want to be ungrateful. But those fries were so goddamn horrible, holy shit. Now that I live in the US again, I've not gone to a BK in years but the last time I did, I just got breakfast food. The sandwich was okay and the hashbrowns/tooter tits are good but they must have the absolute worst coffee of any fast food chain, holy fuck.

The cantina taco is one of the most disgusting things I've ever eaten. It's a normal crunchy taco with chicken instead of beef, but twice as greasy with a bunch of burnt cheese on the side, for over $3. No one stopped me and I had it for lunch. It was pretty good. The avocado verde sauce was nice but not amazing as some are trying to make it out to be. Overall $10 is pricey for someplace like Taco Bell even if the components would cost something like $17-$18 if purchased individually. Other than the price, my only complaint is that the chicken cantina taco is too moist and easily falls apart. Be sure to get a fork or spoon if you want to eat more than half the contents.
