How do you make the best black coffee?

>> No.4036752

7g of grounds per 100ml of water.
Good coffee beans that mach your tastes.
After that, most any method that isn't percolator will brew a great cup, with percolator brewing a very good cup. Don't buy 'spensive gizmos and gadgets or whatsits that use proprietary filters and/or can break easily. Likely, what you already have available can brew a great cup of coffee and don't let /ck/ tell you otherwise.

If you use a filter, fill it with water and let it run through before using it. This should wash out any paper taste.

Add cardamom if you feel like it. Shit's delicious.

I'm going to get some Kopi-Luwak
how should i brew it? Any special Ideas how to get that "unique" flavour, everyone is talking about, out of the beans?

>> No.4037114

70% of coffee quality is using freshly roasted (within the past 5 days) beans that are ground just before brewing. brewing method, time, proportions are secondary to that.

>> No.4037118

By not adding anything to it.

I put 1/2 a teaspoon of cocoa into my coffee, not really for the taste but because it's supposed to be good for you. Also, putting a little cinnamon into your coffee not only helps the taste, but cinnamon is good for your health, especially for men.

My father always did coffee with It and I couldn't understand why his coffee was so much better than everyone else till I realized he was adding cardamom.

So. Fucking. Good.
Not too strong, not too soft, just enough to notice it and enough to let the real coffee taste come.
