Why would anyone pick Papa John's or Pizza Hut?

Papa John's sauce is loaded with sugar and is way too sweet. Pizza Hut has almost no flavor outside of fat and salt. How can bell peppers be so flavorless?

Papa johns has always confused me, the ingrediants and crust seem pretty good quality but the sauce and cheese taste really odd, not terrible but different and not in a good way
Also what is in that garlic dipping sauce, it tastes almost nothing like garlic and is pretty disgusting in general.

As another posted pointed out Pizza Hut used to offer a stuffed pizza called the Priazzo which was actually pretty fucking good.
