mkay...yeah chucky we used to be really good friends in childhood and my dad and I would go to your place once a month after we got our hair cut. It's the best, well maybe the only memory I really have of him or anything we did. Your pizza really sucks and all the games were sticky and didn't last very long but one day I caught on to the underground ticket system. At first I'd cheat at skee ball by just dropping all the balls in the 100 hole. then I found that the game with the little bar that goes back an fourth pushing the "tokens" to the edge paid out way more tickets. So, I'd cover the first couple in baby oil to make everything slide and then I'd go in with super glue...creating a gigantic block epic token falls making the ticket machine go ape shit. obviously no one ever gave a shit about this rarely played game so I did it for years. Once I had a full black glad yard bag full of ticket I brought them all in and got the gigantic 12 food stuffed panda, thanks Chuckey.

exactly, that's why I made the switch to the token game it paid out green ten point tickets not just the red one pointers from skee ball. Even if I would have had a two man team non-stop feeding me balls on the cheat it would have took forever to get the panda.

also, the look on all the other kids faces when I dragged the 12 foot panda out; that didn't even fit in the car (we had to strap it to the hood with drooling and crying 12 y/o's everywhere). Maybe the greatest day ever.

So I was going to cook some pasta with sauce, by cooking the pasta in a pot with boiling water, and adding the sauce and pasta to a pan, but I decided to chuck it all in this dish, I used a fuck load of cheese as you can see, I thought it would be too much, but it was actually decent. It's just pasta and sauce from a jar, I know I could have added onion and mince, but I don't even know how to cut up onion and I had no mince.

Add; mince (500g) bacon rashers chopped up, finely chopped onion, a garlic clove (minced), beef stock (instead of water), vegetables (broccoli, cauliflower, carrot, capsicum, cubed pumpkin/sweet potato, green beans whatever the fuck you want) and a good quality tomato pasta sauce.

Using a dish that goes from stovetop to oven (one pot meals are for winners), heat some oil and cook up that delicious bacon, onion and garlic til the onion is soft. Add the mince and cook til it browns all over. Then add the pasta sauce, stock and veges. Bring to the boil and simmer for 5 mins. Add the uncooked pasta, stir it all til it's well mixed and bake covered at 180 celcius for 30 minutes. Take it out, add cheese all over the top and put it back in for another 30 minutes. Enjoy how good your house smells. Then take it out, let it cool at bit and eat it. Great way to up your vegetable intake and use up any vegetables which are looking a bit too wilty for steaming/eating raw. It takes about 10 minutes to put together and with 500g of mince will feed a family of 4 plus left overs. Reheats really well in the microwave (due to stock, veges and sauce providing moisture) as well as the oven if you have the time. Farken boss dish to take to pot-luck/dinner parties too.

If you don't have a stovetop-to-oven dish (WHY NOT?!) just do all the cooking/browning in a saucepan/skillet and then transfer to an oven dish.
