Have you ever been so tired of cooking that you started eating take away?

>> No.4753942

That looks really good right now. I'm so hungry.

What's wrong with take away besides being terribly unhealthy? I eat Chinese takeout every Friday as a treat to myself, not overweight luckily

ever in my life? yes of course.

Yep. And I've been so tired of eating take away that I started cooking.

Methinks you answered your own question.

All the time, but I try not to make a habbit of it, unless I go to a really nice place. There are a handful of really good restaurants in my city with reasonable prices to eat out once or twice a week, so I do, especially if my kitchen is in shambles, which it has been lately because I haven't been home much.

More often than I'd like to admit.

This is basically the story of my life. I spend 9 to 10 hours a day on average cooking food, if I don't make food for myself at work then I almost always end up getting take-out or delivery when I get home.

One of my ex-boyfriends was an interiors designer. At home? 100% IKEA.

God I love IKEA so much...completely redid my office and bedroom for under $1,5K. Granted now EVERYTHING is IKEA stuff, but it's honestly not even that bad.

I fucking love IKEA. Stuff probably only lasts four or five years but still.....I move like once every two years so fuck it. It's not like I'm settling in a nest. Dem meatballs too.

/ck/ - IKEA and take away

>> No.4754131

Yes. About once a month, I get really sick of cooking, and will go out for food or get take out for like, three or four days in a row, until I realize it's all pretty shit and I feel worse for eating it, then I feel renewed in my sense of kitchen duty.

The mattress under for sleep-overs is really cool.

I hadn't noticed that before.

Why are you pretending to be two different people? Please leave. You are having a negative effect on the board.

You're welcome faggot

I have a new boyfriend now, Kevin.

>> No.4754182 [DELETED]

I don't think you're Kevin. At least, not the person I call Kevin.

If he ever decides to assume his responsibilities, he knows how to contact me.

The guy who had a boyfriend on his fb page isn't my boyfriend.

My boyfriend isn't like that. At all.

I have standards, and that creature isn't my boyfriend. Never has been, never will be.

Carrot Kevin loves me.

He doesn't talk back to me.

He listens to what I have to say.

He won't run away ever again.

Best of all he feels great up my ass, mind you.

Actually, no. I like cooking far more then eating. Most of the time the bulk of what I make goes into the bin after some time.

That amuses me. I wonder how true it is for a lot of them.

As for the topic at hand, back when I worked at the pizza place inside the local grocery store....I hardly ever touched the stove. Hell neither did my Mom (who got me that job). We most ate stuff we could bring home from work or from whatever was still open when we got done. I think just being around the food all day makes you not want to mess with it when you get home.

Kinda the opposite now. I work tech support for a large medical corporation and it drives me crazy not to have my set up from home at work...to the point I bought a Azio mouse to replace the cheap ass Microsoft mouse I was given at work.

Kevin knew one of my exes, Daniel. When he found out, he said that he was very disappointed that I would even know someone like Daniel.

I think I understand how he might've felt now, but Daniel could still sleep in my bed if he wanted to. Hell, I even chose the bed linen in consequence that he would.

There are the occasional moments, but not for more than single meal.
Usually if I've been drinking whole night and then sleep little and do some sports like go skateboarding for the day, I'm way too tired to start cooking.

>> No.4756040

It's not even that I'm tired of cooking... I just hate my current kitchen. It's ridiculously small, and there's just no space to prepare more than instant/quick-cook items. I'm trying to search for a new apartment specifically for that reason.

>> No.4756393 [DELETED]

I'm still my boyfriend's, if he wants me, though. What I meant is that I don't like his friends.

>> No.4756443

Never gotten tired of cooking - it's my hobby, how I relax. Also not a fan of fast food, so I almost never order takeaway. On nights when I'm not cooking I go out to eat.
