Hey /ck/ superbowl is coming up, and each year me and some friends gather up for the event.
Last year we had sliders and the year b4 that we ate a whole lot of KFC.
What would u recommend for this year we're from europe so i guess american products are limited?

TL;DR: What should i eat for my euro-superbowl -meal

We tought about nachos, but only for a snack kind of thing, not as the main meal. What would u eat with your nachos in the US?

Make some cottage fries, and put out with good nacho cheese, sour cream, avocado, diced tomato/pico de gallo, meat, and refried beans and let people make some irish nachos.

Or if that is too heavy, grill some chicken or cheap beef, slice thin and make some quesadillas. Decent finger food to go with nachos.

Or maybe something that takes a bit more prep instead of having them do it themselves, like some fresh taquitos.

I would serve all of these with multiple picante/salsa, and good sour cream

Do you make the wings yourself? and if so, do you have a recipe for the sauce/rub for thouse fuckers?

>> No.5140069

>>5140047
Of course we make em ourselves. I usually don't use sauce on my wings. I usually season the meat with a little seasoning salt and cayanne pepper. That's it. Make sure to season the wings before you put them in the flower and fry them.

Well, since weed is legal in the two states with teams in the super bowl, the only way to do this one is to get as high as fucking possible.

Here in America we are expected to have a wing shortage according to Fox News. I don't know if this same shortage will hit the rest of the world, I would expect so since you are not nearly god fearing enough. So if Fox News is indeed true, which is nearly is all the time, you may want to stock up on chicken wings. You can probably get them from your local Halal butcher.

Either that or have a traditional meal of meat pies.

A lot of people theme the superbowl menu around the teams who are playing, making something local to their respective parts of the country. In this particular case, Seattle vs Denver? Neither area is known to have a real local flavor, imho.

Denver is home to Chipotle, maybe some burritos or mexican food. Set up a crock pot with some fajita filling, or make some quesadillas in the oven. Seattle has a lot of asians and a lot of seafood. Quirky cafe people, home of Starbucks, and some foodie revivals were happening there, from cupcakes to that whole bacon craze.

You can always do dips, chicken wings, pizza, italian sausage hoagies, nachos, the usual things that are tasty with beer.

For the Denver guys, I am making Denver omelets, but only if they dress like Bob Denver from Gilligan's Island.

For the Seattle fans, I am preparing geoduck clams (pictured) in a recipe of my own making I call "Geoduck Rockefeller."

Should be the Best Super Bowl party ever!

Is buffalo sauce such as Frank's Red Hot available in the UK? If so, buffalo chicken dip, with tortilla chips or thin baguette slices is pretty murcan and delicious. Sample recipe, but fiddle as you please.

are you fucking retarded? how about all the best oysters, geoduck tartar, anything salmon, oh and their spin on hot dogs is to put cream cheese on it... almost every region has their own local flair.

as far as denver is concerned I'm not sure, denver omelet? lolz never been there so don't know what they're rocking as local foodstuffs.

if you want to combine both in one dish just make a batch of pot brownies!

I agree with this guy, it's kinda their "thing".
Also, wings are hard to fuck up - no need to deep fry them though, just season, bread, and throw them in the oven for a bit, they've got enough fat to fry themselves. If you can get ground beef and own a skillet, you could try doing burgers or sliders.

i've got nothing against deep frying i just hate doing it at home because you can only do it in such small batches at time, it sucks. if i had a commercial sized fryer i'd be on that shit.

Australian Super Bowl if you're a bogan (australian redneck) it's State of Origin and NRL/AFL final weekend.

Jackson was a notorious slob, sloppy dresser and clumsy horseman. The only reason I doubt it's him is because he seems a little too affable, and Jackson was entirely devoid of humor and friendliness.
