I'd open with cream of vegetable soup, the one my mother makes. I swear it's so good it's like it contains the jizz of 1,000 virgin girls all gathered from only the purest families. Actually, that'd be part of the soup. I'd then move onto my main course, endangered curry. This contains the meat of 10 different heavily endangered species, the herbs and spices used in KFC chiken, a dry curry prepared on a wok without any sauce content whatsoever. For dessert I would have a mountain of ice cream of many, many different flavours, and melted brownies all around the sides, all on top of a mountain of pancakes. I would then ingest tea that contained ginger, cannabis, mdma and peppermint, and a little hemlock.

Probably keep it simple and go to the roots of different phases that stand out in my life. Nothing fancy.

If you are talking about a last meal in prison, then you would probably be out of luck if yhou want to be fancy. Whatever you get is going to be what the prison kitchen is ready to make. Bacon and eggs, hamburgers, fried chicken, catfish, barbecue, steak, chicken, ... would probably be okay but no fancy way of preparing it. It is very unlikely that you would get lobster, salmon, ... .

If you are nearly dead from old age, probably cream of wheat or oatmeal would be about all you could handle and you really wouldn't care anyway.

Don't have any historical texts with me but I wonder if the lobsters the prisoners were fed to were in anyway 'fresh' by modern standards. The popularity of lobsters didn't seem to increase by very much until after harvested lobsters were kept alive in holding tanks during transport, although the reverse might be true that the increased demand was what drove the change in harvest and holding methods.
