Is it just me, or do people look kinder when they eat?

Not if they're eating abnormally, like stuffing their face, but just eating regularly? The effect is amplified when they are alone.

I've seen people I've hated and for no reason other than that they were eating, I was like "ah shit, maybe he isn't so bad."

And then I see random strangers eating and I think "hm, he or she seems nice."

Does anyone know what I'm talking about?
