Those labels are nice, since people who need to avoid gluten can buy them and I can not buy them.

No fucking shit, it's meat. Are people this ignorant?

This is the proof that "gluten free" has become a ridiculous trend/buzzword that no one has any real knowledge about. I feel terrible for the real celiacs out there that have to put up with all the hipster idiots.

>Are people this ignorant?

Yes. At one point in time those labels made sense. But people have come to fear whatever comes before the word "free", so it's become great marketing. After decades of seeing things like "Fat free" or "sugar free" or "cholesterol free" on labels people assume that gluten is a bad thing, and they will happily buy marked-up products to avoid it, even when they don't need to. Of course this is great for the companies who make that stuff.

It's fucking simple to avoid gluten. In fact, the vast majority of food doesn't have gluten at all: vegetables, fruits, meat, fish, shellfish, poultry, nuts, seeds, etc..none of that contains gluten. Alas, few people cook from scratch these days and when you are buying prepared foods then all bets are off regarding what's in there.

I always cringe and hesitate when I notice a "suger/fat/gluten free" label on something i'm picking out. What really irritates me is when the flavor of drinks on the shelf I actually want are only in dietfag ingredients. (lessened calories, which means fake sugar and bullshit that's actually worse for you)

all of the retards have caused the food industry to make a bunch of new gluten-free things, so real celiacs might actually be happy

I doubt it; it works in table salt because it's all granulated and mixed together. That's just lumps of rock. Salty rock, but it's a rock.

I just guessing but I think science confirmed that fucking salt doesn't even have any genes to modifiy like a thousand years ago.

Only thing I can imagine is that attention whores have made restaurants a Russian roulette for celiacs because no one takes "I'm gluten intolerant" seriously anymore. Then again most real celiacs will most likely try to avoid dishes that contain gluten to begin with.

Yeah but they must surely have a process, otherwise it's not much a certification. Did they have to fill in a form and prove the provenance of their lumps of rock salt? I hope so.

The real joke is that all that red area says soda not coke. Only the dingiest of imbreds/ancient old fucks refer to all cola type beverages as coke. And even then sparsely.
This is coming from a restaurant employed that serves Pepsi products. The only product that people refer to as coke is Pepsi or cola flavored soda.
