Isn't it amazing that the best beer in the world also has the best bottle in the world?

Buddha beer has the best bottle ever made however it contains one of the worst liquids ever conceived.

>Chocolate beer
>Beer with any sort of added flavor, or sweetness
Pilsners is the best beer type hands down, if you can't handle beer without some added sweetness or flavor then you should stick to cider and other such girly drinks.

It doesn't have to include chocolate to be called a chocolate stout. Nor does a coffee stout have to include coffee.

I love breakfast stout but is far from the best.

Wake and bake from Terrapin is the best stout with coffee flavor I've ever had.

Pilsner is the classic, the go-to beer, just like black tea.
It's neutral enough that you don't really get tired of it.
Sure it's good to have some variety, but the best baseline beer type is the pilsner.

Miller and natty are not indicative of all pilsner.

Go get pislner urquell for a based import and Lagunitas' czech pilsner for a based american pilsner.

They are good, but overpriced and overhyped like their Brewdog and Stone companions. Plus these are the fuckers that perpetuate the image of overly pretentious beer snobs who can't admit that macro beer is still good beer for what it is, yet produce far more beer abortions that are only fit to be drunk by the kitchen sink drain.

Macro beer isn't good. Sorry. I personally am not one of the half assed macro apologists that go "Yeah man, I liked craft beer, but I enjoy drinking macro too! It is really impressive that they make their product so consistent!!!". Fuck that. They are just little bitches who are changing their opinion so that they don't get bullied by stupid people on /ck/. It isn't impressive, they have billions of dollars to spend on literally whatever they need on an industrial scale to produce the same shitty thing over and over again.

>Yeah, I mean I enjoy fine dining don't get me wrong, but you have to admire McDonalds. To produce the same products in every country in the world consistently is just amazing!!!!
>I mean yeah I don't particularly enjoy eating super genetically modified featherless chicken raised in 6 inch by six inch cages but you have got to admire how Tsyon is able to constantly produce chicken meat that always looks and tastes as bad as it doe!!! Amazing!!!

Kill yourselves.

I respectfully disagree. If you don't think drinking a cold Bud or PBR outside on a hot day isn't fantastic you may want to remove that stick from your ass. Sometimes simple and cheap is best--a bitter-ass IPA or hearty dark beer is not what I'd turn to in the summer after working outside. The big companies aren't bullshitting when they tout 'drinkability'.

Ok. Let me just drive an extra 10 miles and fork out twice as much for that at the upscal beer store.

I love a good hefe, but I wouldn't drink it as a regular beer. Like cigars--you enjoy your favorite high-quaility beer choices infrequently so you can appreciate them that much more (and to save money), and find a good cheap and common beer as the go-to option.

Nope. If i cant buy something quality or otherwise something i havent had before i dont care. Also, it is 15 minutes max to get to the biggest beer store in my area. There are lots of american craft lagers and European lagers at my disposal. I dont waste money on inferior shit. If money is so much on an issue i won5 buy beer because i obviously need to seriously change something in my life.

>macro lager isn't a quality product

Nigga, these beers are brewed by old industry pros and have singlehandedly dominated the American and global industry for 60 years straight in less-than-favorable economic environments. I've never had a craft lager that I thought tasted better than Bud or Yuengling... because lager is such a basic style that to me the 'quality' difference is really just a matter of personal preference. I ain't knocking people who will spend substantially more on their favorite sixer of craft lager, but the macro hate is completely unjustified beer snobbery. It's pretty good beer and millions of people around the world genuinely like the way most macros taste. I have a (pretty justified) theory that if InBev took Bud regular and jacked the price up and sold it under the guise of being from a real craft beer company, folks like you would enjoy it so long as you didn't wise up.

>wrong! La la la la I can't here you you're so wrong but I'm not going to validate my claims in the slightest or reply!

Also, who's lying to whoseself? I live in a college town with awesome local beer, tons of craft beer stores that I frequent, but I also genuinely love Budweiser for my choice of lager versus more expensive options.

If my opinion is objectively wrong, prove it objectively, then. Explain why me and millions of others have shit taste with facts about how shitty the macro industry is. Point to the objective benefits craft brewing has versus macro on the taste of something that's brewed in nearly identicle ways with ingredients often sourced from the same companies.

If the basis is 'it's massed produced' or 'they are big evil companies,' then you might want to stop buying anything ever again. Otherwise, shut the fuck up and drink your damn beer if that makes you happy.
