Fruit tea with a little honey is nicer AND much healthier than soda. Probably cheaper as well, and comes in more varieties.

In the summer you can always make a pot of it, let it cool and then chill it for later. I've made fruit tea ice cubes before, you just have to make the tea stronger in order to taste them with the added water and slices of lemon/lime/whatever.

Triggered. I think that guy is being faggot but I just wanted to point out that, for me, being healthy has less to do with living longer (that's just a bonus) and more to do with feeling good in the now. Healthy body, healthy mind, healthy spirit.
I've been unhealthy and I've been healthy and when you're healthy you just feel better. So, to me, that is what being healthy is all about. Living longer is a secondary consideration because shit happens and the zombie apocalypse could come any minute and I could die (if they catch me).

I really like sparkling water muddled with soft herbs and some kind of fruit. Lemon and mint is pretty great, and strawberry/lime/basil is another favourite. Plain water is best for rehydrating between meals though as constantly sipping anything with sugar or acid won't let your teeth recover and remineralise. Try keeping water in the fridge or adding ice cubes, that often makes it much more refreshing and enjoyable than lukewarm tap water.

If you're honestly serious about changing to something healthy, just quit cold turkey and drink water. It sucks at first but you'll honestly feel a lot better. It's not like you can never drink soda again but honestly after just a few months drinking just water you stop being able to stomach more than the occasional glass. But if you absolutely have to have flavor, drink infused waters and cut the carbonation.

I've literally never had a cup of tea in my life, but I need to stop drinking soda and I'm willing to try something new.

I suppose I need a kettle. I'm guessing it won't matter what style or brand, but as to the tea itself, what flavors/brands should I try?
