I've never been much of a cucktail guy, so I got some various stuff from Amazon to try out something new. Now I'm checking out drinks I can make and see shit like this:

>"Kiss Of An Angel"
>1 oz of Kahlua coffee liqueur
>1 oz of Vodka
>1 oz of Irish cream
>Build in a whiskey glass with crused ice and stir.

>"Mudslide"
>1/2 oz of coffee liqueur
>1/2 oz of Baileys
>1/2 oz of Vodka
>Add coffee liqueur to a shot glass. Layer the Baileys on top of the the liqueur by pouring it slowly over the back of a barspoon. Repeat this step with the vodka. Serve immediately.

Does it really make a huge difference if you prepare a drink with the exact same ingredients one way or another?

Typically when we prepare a drink one way it has a certain effect on dilution, temperature or presentation. Taste can change if these things are changing simultaneously, it just depends on how much you change the original recipe.

Pic related is Aviation minus creme de violette. Have any of you cu/ck/tail experts managed to get your hands on it?

You think that stuff is good, give this a shot:
>The Flat Leaf
>4 grams picked fresh parsley
>2 oz. gin
>1 1/2 oz. lime juice
>3/4 oz. simple syrup

Double the recepie if not using liquid nitrogen.

If using liquid nitrogen, nitromuddle the parsely, fill with ice, pour the remaining ingredients in, shake, and strain through a tea strainer.

If not using nitrogen, put the parsley, gin, and lime in a blender, blend on high for 15-20 seconds, strain through a tea strainer or chinois into a shaker, add the simple syrup, shake, and strain into a chilled cocktail glass.

I don't drink cocktails because I'm neither a woman or a faggot. I drink liquor to get drunk, not enjoy the flavor.

Well, there at least 2 other threads on /ck/ that are for you, instead of shitposting in this one.

That's mainly because of the cream / milk. Irish cream doesn't work as well, even on ice.
