There is a good chance Pizza Slut or Dominhos is actually better than any local joint if there isn't an Italian population in the area.

There is a local chain that literally has frozen pizza tier toppings like cubed pepperoni, sausage, onions, and peppers. Literally that is it for toppings, and sweet marinara sauce. Pizza crust is decent, but it's like $18 for a large.

Reason it is so popular it was the first pizza restaurant in the county back in the late 60s, so everyone in the redneck mountains town thinks it's good pizza even in 2016.

Pizza hut is awful too, but then again you're right about it usually depending on location and staff.

I can say that when I visited friends in Germany, The Pizza-Hut there was pretty great, freshly made and actually tasted really nice.

About a 50% chance of shitting my guts out eating there. I can never pin it down to what makes me sick because I'll eat the exact same thing from the exact location only to get sick. McDonald's, JackintheBox Hardees/CarlJr, Taco Hell never do it.

Also Jack in the Box needs to be on the east coast. Best place at 2am.

I don't believe you. That shit rides through on a conveyor unless they put it through twice or it got stuck somehow your pizza was fine. Even if it did get burnt it is so simple to just make another one you would have never seen it.

I've never had a problem with Dominos. Pizza hut used to be shit but they stepped up their game.

My local place is pretty damn good. Always fresh and they do this thing that I now love where instead of dicing peppers and throwing it on a pizza, they take a peeler and throw the thin slices on your pizza. It blew my mind that they did that.
