Used to use these as my go to dog but they changed the recipe at some point and they suck now. The sausage got way softer. I buy sausages because I don't like the soft texture of hotdogs. They are much less spicy now too.

My dad used to buy those Bar S hotdogs all the time because he was really cheap. They always tasted fine to me growing up, although not as enjoyable as, say, a hotdog I would get at a fair or something. However, I recently got a pack of them because they were cheap and I remembered them, and they didn't even taste like a hotdog. It was truly awful. I literally just put them back on the grill and basically burned the fuck out of them in hopes that the charcoal flavor would overpower and flavor that was in the hotdog.
