I wonder if she has ever eaten food nicer than what you might get from a spoons. I think she's either too sheltered to know what normal or even halfway-to-half-decent food tastes like. Or, she's so sheltered/thick that anything seasoned tastes weird to her, and any meat that's not overcooked, dry, and flavourless just seems wrong.
