I made chicken noodle soup. ~8 thighs with no skin, veggies, chicken broth, noodles at end. Removed bones near the end. I don't have any pics. But I did blend some of the chunky bits without too much broth for baby food.
I only added a tad bit of salt, baby will be fine. I ended up filling 7 large baby food jars.

Also attempted making red salsa for the first time! Little watery but glad I went with serranos instead of jalapenos (and tripled the amount).

The refried beans were out of a can, which I normally hate, but I read a tip online that said to add a half cup of milk and a tbsp of butter to the pan with them and they'll loosen up. A quarter cup probably would've done it, but it really turned it from a thick paste into a great addition to the burrito.

The guac broke my wallet. Avocados are $2.99 apiece up here in CT.

The queso is your standard Velveeta and Rotel mix with a finely sliced serrano added in. People shit on Velveeta but fuck me if it doesn't make the best queso around.

Standard store bought burrito tortilla and lime tortilla chips on the side.

Biscuits and gravy is easy to make but hard to master. The biscuits you can just get a generic can of dough or whatever, they're biscuits.
The gravy is just a (very thick) roux + sausage, with all the greasy and fat. Season with salt+pepper to start.

Then...idk, just go from there, experiment with shit. Everybody has their own "golden recipe" for that thing.

i pan fried my salmon for the first time last night after always baking it. Its quicker and easier, no regrets.

Also, what is on top of the skin?

I think it was just salt, pepper, butter and garlic. I was being pretty lazy because it was my first day back from camping out for a bit over a week.

Tonight I had chicken schnitzel and some potatoes and broccoli.
Been out drinking all day, trying to make healthy food and avoid takeaway. Which is what most of my food is this week.

YA, it wasn't good. No idea why this thing was so well liked, it's very bland.
Needed quite a lot of hot sauce.

I usually get a Stouffer's lasagna but they were out because hurricane. The store was very picked over.

didn't take a pic but

Feta and bacon stuffed chicken breast, and a salad consisting of baby spinach, mushrooms and onions cooked together with butter and garlic, chopped up boiled egg, almonds and more bacon.

I'm /keto/

Buckwheat grains with leek (although I usually use onion) and quark plus a little bit of sausage I found in the fridge. Also, kefir.

I think that camera has an auto-poser setting that triggers when a fancy knife and stupid hat are conspicuously in the frame.

If you like roasted potatoes, try this to the letter, it will change your life.

Err on the side of undercooking at the oven roasting stage, if you use yukon golds you want to keep them creamy in the center so don't overcook. The outside is crunchier than you've ever had a potato.

I also baked a quick simplest possible pie with plums. I guess it's peasant food day.
