Are Americans so fucking obese that they don't even have a small size anymore?

Americans drive a lot so we usually end up drinking about 1/2 our drink on the drive home and need more so we can have some with the meal

the fact that most people pick soda is why they're fat. also no excuse for the fries

Not op but there are definitely tendies where I am. They've been advertising them along with the new sauces

Dude, the whole R&M meme sauce fiasco was a promotion for the new tendies. You're out in the middle of nowhere or haven't been to work for a week.

When you ask for "small" they should just give you the smallest size they have available instead of being pretentious dickheads.
>hurr durr i know what you're asking for but i'm going to pretend like i don't because we arbitrarily labelled drink sizes a certain way that doesn't include your exact wording

Obviously. But that's missing the point entirely. The point is that small is an expected option, and it's missing.

>>9540581
Yeah, that's certainly the reasoning behind it, but it is silly. Some customers *want* to order a "small" because it makes them feel like they are less of a fatty.

It really does make them less of a fatty though. A small soda has less calories. If I could order a meal that had a normal size burger, a small soda, and a small fries I would order that every time because that is exactly what I order when I go to McDonald's. I usually end up giving half my soda away or throwing it out because I don't want as much soda as they give me.

Agreed.

Though in my opinion a person concerned about losing weight shouldn't be anywhere near a fast food restaurant.

It's entirely possible that anon works at a foreign McDonalds which doesn't have the current buttermilk crispy tenders promotion.

Note that it is (currently anyway) a limited time promotion and not a standard menu item.

>> No.9540629

True. Fast food may be tasty and quick but its so devoid of nutrients. Most of a McDonadl's burger is carbs and some protein. Fries are all carbs. Soda is all carbs.

Does it bother anyone else that the crispy tenders aren't real chicken tenders? I've never seen it brought up bit they taste like shit and are reformed chicken parts not breast meat strips like tendies are supposed to be.

>> No.9540734

>>9540719
Sure, it's designed to be as tasty as it can be, given its limitations of industrial production, lowest-common-denominator appeal, and being prepared by retards. The problem is that those limitations fuck the food over. A home cook doesn't have those limitations which means that (unless you are inept) you can kick the shit out of fast food in the flavor department.

>>9540726
The ones I had were breast meat strips, I'm not sure what you're going on about. They certainly weren't great, but they were breast meat strips.

They seemed close but not exactly breast meat strips when I had them, like large glued together pieces of chicken. I assumed chicken tender was somehow protected term and that's why they don't call them that

The real issue with fast food is that they refuse to hire anyone who isn't s student and complain about how no one shows up to work and is always short staffed
