I cannot stop eating if I have anything in the house.

I've resorted to buying food for each day. I never have any staples in my house. If I have eggs and milk I'll make crepes and slather them in 600 calories worth of nutella. If I have pasta I will make a carbonara at 4 am after eating a full day's worth of food.

I gained 100+ lbs in a year, which I've since lost, cause of this.

Does anyone else have this issue? It's fucking depressing. I have some tortellini for tomorrow and im so close to just eating it now instead

You're eating to fill a void for something else that is missing in your life. Get off the internet and seek professional help.

I shared an apartment with a slut that was the daughter of the landlady, this fucking slut reserved an empty place in the fridge for his BF that lived like 500 miles away, so I had to get used to buy food daily. Luckily here in spain you can afford to buy in small quantities

While I agree, there isn't much to be done. Went to therapy for a while, was on antidepressants as well.

Why not buy a fridge and tell the bitch to fuck herself?

Well then you might as well just kill yourself since you're not willing to change.

Well I am. As I mentioned I've done what I can to stop binge eating and have lost 100 lbs in the past year because of it (and exercise of course). The improvement of my mental state is a much more hopeless situation though and a might kill myself eventually

Then stay in therapy and really commit to it.

That's awesome that you've lost so much weight. Don't stop there, keep going. For depression, therapy and meds are the only way man. If you stick with it, you'll find an SSRI that will work for you. A lot of clients spend months, maybe even 1 and a half years trying different ones before they find the one that just clicks. Source: me, therapist in training

mmmm no im in the same boat and OP is just lying

you dont just "gain 100 lbs in a year" it happens over multiple years, and its a clear breakdown in self esteem, anxiety and self control

OP is just lying to himself to perpetuate a victim narrative for normalization purposes, sociopathic behavior to try to be accepted for his problems, rather than acknowledging fault and accepting responsibilities.

very easy to stop eating, go to gym, moderately reduce intake. its not a compulsion you just arent even attempting to address the problem other than cry lik ea bitch about it and expect others to solve the problem for you, with their words, because you know, putting actual effort into something is too much for you to handle

Start lifting. Then carbonara at 4am becomes a good thing
