People who only rely on a single spice in all their cooking aren't good cooks

Mom knows I have been a coo for ten years but she continues to eschew my wisdom toward food preparation. She ignores my advice that putting bak pepper in my macaroni and cheese is an abomination and if she keeps it up I will have to come up from the basement while she is preparing it and give her a good dressing down. I am the dark night of /ck/ and Mom better learn.
