Got these /ck/. Thinking about baking them for 30 minutes as per the instructions then frying em on high temp for 5 min, what do you think?

I’ve always kind of wondered how English style fried fish compares to Calabash style fried fish. Of course Calabash style favors flounder and grouper as the fish of choice, and a light seasoned cornmeal batter to fry them in, but otherwise they seem pretty similar to me. Oh and the side dishes are a little different, usually American fries or hush puppies(small balls of fried corn batter) and slaw rather than chips. I’ve eaten tons of Calabash style seafood in my childhood during summer vacations, but I can’t say I’ve been to England or tried fish and chips that seemed authentic.
