Get to work and say I’m not drinking tonight. Get out of work feeling great and head to the liquor store. Go home take a shower, chill for about an hour, then just start hammering beer. Pass out and wake up six hours later late for work. I was always an exceptional worker and people liked me so they let me slide on being late all the time. Starting eating super healthy, lean protein, tons of vegetables, tons of water, even did a bullshit full body detox from Whole Foods. Two weeks later I’m done with the cleanse and I don’t even want to drink anymore. So many of our health problems, especially mental health, are the result of an imbalance of bacteria in your gut. Fix that and you start to feel a shit ton better and can think straight. Just give it two weeks of eating healthy, drinking water. Throw some probiotic foods in there to speed up the process. I've eaten healthily for 17 years, and been taking Lactobacillus Acidophilus, Bifidobacterium Bifidum, Bacillus Licheniformis, Bacillus Subtilis, Lactobacillus Lactis, Lactobacillus Casei, Lactobacillus Rhamnosus and Lactobacillus Plantarum for 15 years.
Glad you managed to get clean and completely rid yourself of alcoholism within two weeks, but even with a few weeks, sometimes months here and there, after a quarter of a century I'm still battling alcoholism.

A good tip that I don't follow but it works, is having a cup of tea before your first drink, it fills you up and you don't drink so fast.
I am going to re-incorporate this rule as I have been getting a bit messy lately, got in a fight and nearly got arrested last night.
Let's see if I can put off drinking until Friday/\Saturday.
I don't know why I rarely eat before drinking, I suppose deep down I want the booze to hit harder.

>withdraw hallucinations?
no, because i'll start throwing up and panicking. what i will say though is that it's nothing like psychedelic hallucinations wherein you're aware that you're hallucinating and it's just a visual thing. it's everything, it's your world, it's real to you. you see it, hear it, smell it, you're surrounded by it, you're in it, you are it. it's more a state of absolute insanity than it is of just seeing weird shit like you might on dmt or whatever.
unless you've 'broken through' on dmt, that is. that's sufficiently confusing and all-encompassing that it could be compared, albeit without the ridiculously profound fear.
i can't really describe it and i wouldn't really like to. i did once run the fuck out of hospital without taking any of my stuff or even getting dressed, just to escape whatever the fuck it was i thought was a threat, then walked in a gown miles through woodland and on beaches to get back to alcohol.

The females of our species are elusive, but you can meet them.
I had a thing with a woman, jesus christ I can't believe it's been this long, 2 years ago.
Didn't see it coming. It just happened. I was a drunk then too.
Friend had a thing, go to this bar, so I went. Saw her, got talking. Knew her casually from tangential relationships for a few years.
It was god.
Saw the same week at another friend thing. We got it real going good.
She left the next day to move somewhere else
That hurt.

I myself moved somewhere else, lost my job, starting drinking more. But I still remember how I connected that last night. It felt something special. I hope that I may have that again sometime in my life. Maybe just once more. That's all I'd need.

Anyways, yeah, you just need to go out and meet people. It can happen even if you never expect it.

Genuine answers.

I'm proud of my mechanical abilities, I can fix just about anything besides a transmission on almost any car. Even hammered drunk....Comes in handy with family members who are not mechanically inclined. Also I fucked a ton of women between 19-25. At least 40, Closer to 55 I think...Lost count and don't remember a lot of them so it would be hard to make a list. Fucked a handful of literal 10's.

That was my thing. I'm good at reading. I can read over 100 pages of a book in a hour. I can recall facts I learned 10 years ago. I love learning.

They're already living like shit and barely working. Getting free money won't make them qualified for better work.
