What is the actual part of this that is supposed to taste good?
Like, I'm actually confused here how this dish is meant to work. Toast has no flavor and cheese has almost no flavor, and heating them together just gives you a thing with no flavor. Does it have to be a specific kind of cheese or something?

just made one with mayo for the first time
couldn't really taste a difference, it looked extra greasy in the pan though, but it still crisped up nicely
probably wouldn't do it again unless i'm trying to get rid of mayo since i make it myself in tiny portions, seems like a waste if i can't tell the differnce
