What are the must haves from Trader Joes /ck/?

>> No.10530004

>>10529958
There is no must have at Trader Joe's. There are things that I only eat at home from Trader Joes because I can't be bothered to make pork dumplings.

>> No.10530022

Unpopped popcorn kernals.

Are they better/cheaper than the jolly time kernels from Walmart? Or Orville Reddenbacher?

Vodka of the gods is a great value at 10 bucks for 1.75l of usually high quality stuff

It does vary a bit though

And you want me to pay money to support this?
This is disgusting to God.

This is legitimately one of the top 10, could easily fight itself into top 5.
If you ever see it, fucking get it because it fucking FLIES.

used to go for their soyaki marinade but I found the same one in the international aisle at a less annoying grocery store

>> No.10530670

I get their appetizers a lot cuz they’re good to have on hand when friends are chillin. I like their spanakopita. They used to have a spinach and kale pie that I LOVED but I guess no one else liked it, because I haven’t seen it in a few years. Their tiny frozen tacos are really good. Beef is best but chicken is ok. Their orange chicken is really good and sells out pretty quickly.

One thing I always buy is their chai tea bags. It tastes just like the celestial seasonings chai that was discontinued. Really good.

Don’t buy meat there, you’ll almost never get a good deal. Produce is hit or miss, almost always better prices at your local grocery if you don’t care about the BS organic labels. Trader Joe’s is best for trying new snacks, not for big grocery runs or if your list has a lot of staples on it. Sometimes I buy their white bread, but it isn’t really better than the higher/mid end bread you get at your regular grocery store.
